Kumbhalgarh Fort
Rajasthan, India
Project Description
Kumbhalgarh Fort – The Great Wall of India

Overview: A UNESCO World Heritage Site and an architectural marvel, Kumbhalgarh Fort stands tall amidst the Aravalli Hills of Rajasthan. Built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha, this fort is famous for having the second-longest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China—stretching over 36 kilometers.

Surrounded by dense forests and rugged mountains, the fort served as a powerful defensive bastion of the Mewar kingdom. It also holds great historical significance as the birthplace of Maharana Pratap, the legendary Rajput warrior. The fort complex includes palaces, temples, and step-wells, all reflecting the grandeur of Rajputana architecture.
The Kumbha Palace, Badal Mahal, and over 360 temples inside the fort complex provide an awe-inspiring journey through history. The panoramic view from the top offers breathtaking scenery, especially during sunset.
